Job summary

Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in New York is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our care team. You will assess patients, develop and implement rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize recovery.

We offer up to $43 per hour based on experience; candidates must be licensed OT in-state and comfortable supervising therapy assistants in a geriatric, long-term care setting. Excellent patient-centered care is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited OT program.
• Must hold a valid OT license and state registration.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.
• Strong documentation and charting skills required.
• Ability to set goals and educate patients and families.
• Excellent patient service and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients and provide direct OT care.
• Develop and administer therapy programs with measurable goals.
• Document patient condition and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with all disciplines for patient-centered care.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
