Position Overview

Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) is for a Travel or Local job in the locations identified below. The GNA provides hands-on care and assistance to elderly clients under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN). The GNA ensures the comfort, dignity, and safety of geriatric clients, assisting with daily living needs and supporting overall quality of life.

Reporting Relationship

• Reports to the supervising RN/LPN and Agency Manager/Administrator.

Qualifications/Prerequisites

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant in the state (after CNA certification and additional GNA requirements).
• Successful completion of state-approved GNA training and competency evaluation.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to perform physical caregiving tasks safely.
