Fundamental in Catonsville, MD seeks a dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistant for full-time evening shifts (3-11pm) with a part-time 3-11pm and 11-7am option. The role focuses on compassionate patient care, linen changes, bathing, positioning, hydration, vital signs, and routine checks with the nursing team.

Qualifications include a state license as a GNA, ability to respond to emergencies, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed GNA in good standing with the state (as required)
• Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language
• GNAs must be caring individuals dedicated to providing high quality care to our residents/patients
• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Changing linens
• Assistance with bathing
• Properly positioning patients
• Offering hydration
• Checking in on patients in the morning and night
• Taking/ recording vital signs
• GNAs may perform other/similar duties as assigned by the nursing department when necessary
