Zusammenfassung

360 Support Inc. seeks a Geriatric Nursing Assistant to provide specialized daily care and emotional support to residents in Maryland licensed facilities. You will deliver memory care and follow fall-prevention protocols while supporting mobility with lifts and wheelchairs.

You will assist with eating, hygiene, continence management, and recreational activities; monitor cognitive changes; report concerns to the supervising nurse and document meals, fluids, and behavior logs.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of MBON-approved CNA/GNA curriculum.
• Active CNA certificate with the GNA designation on the Maryland Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist in two-person transfers.

The Geriatric Nursing Assistant provides specialized, direct daily care and emotional support to elderly residents in Maryland licensed comprehensive care, skilled nursing, and long-term care facilities.

Deliver specialized daily care tailored to geriatric residents, including memory care and fall-prevention protocols.Support mobility using mechanical lifts, transfer boards, gait belts, and wheelchairs.Assist residents with eating, hygiene, continence management, and recreational activities.Observe and report signs of cognitive decline, skin breakdown, pressure sores, or infection to the supervising nurse.Document restorative nursing goals, meals consumed, fluid intake, and behavior logs

What we’re looking for

• Education: Completion of an MBON-approved CNA/GNA curriculum.
• Licensure: Active CNA certificate with the Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) designation on the Maryland Nurse Aide Registry (passed the NNAAP written/skills exam). Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist in two-person transfers.
