Job summary

Autumn Lake Healthcare at Braddock Heights is seeking a compassionate Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) to join our team. We offer 12-hour and 8-hour shifts in both full-time and part-time roles, with opportunities for growth and development in a supportive environment.

As a GNA, you will provide daily resident care, monitor vital signs, assist with ADLs, and work closely with nurses to ensure high-quality, dignified care for our residents in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Certified GNA certification is required.
• Prior GNA experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Take and record vital signs.
• Report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Promote resident comfort, dignity and independence.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver care.

• 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Part-Time Day Shift)

• 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (Part-Time Night Shift)

8-Hour Shifts

• 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Full-Time & Part-Time Day Shift)

• 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (Part-Time Evening Shift)

• 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (Full-Time & Part-Time Night Shift)
