Job Summary

We are seeking a Geriatric Nurse to join our team! As a Geriatric Nurse, you will spend your time caring for our aging patients, administering medication, and following up with clients and maintaining accurate vitals and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to check on each patient assigned, assessing current well-being and making notes on issues as needed
• Administer prescribed medications as directed
• Assisting other nurses or nurses aids as needed to keep the shift moving and provide excellent care
• Being a positive, supportive presence to our aging patients

Qualifications

• Active, valid nursing license within the state
• Experience working with an aging population desired
• Comfortability working independently and within a team
• The ability to multitask and work well under pressure
