Job summary
Esse Health in the St. Louis area seeks a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Southside Family Practice. Focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a physician-led environment. The position features a Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m. schedule with Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and a light call burden. Requirements include 1–2 years NP/PA experience, strong geriatric experience preferred, and MO licensure eligibility.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years NP/PA experience preferred.
- Experience with geriatric patients preferred.
- Outpatient focused clinical practice.
Responsibilities
- Develop 1:1 relationships with patients and staff.
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients.
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostics.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with physician partner.
- Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and education.
- Document care accurately in NextGen EHR.
- Coordinate care with specialists and the care team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
