Job summary

Atlantic MEDsearch is seeking a primary care physician with a geriatric focus for an outpatient clinic. The role emphasizes comprehensive elder care, preventive services, and coordination of tests and imaging. Call coverage is shared by phone, and the practice is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

FP or IM trained physicians are considered. The compensation package includes a generous salary with incentives, relocation, retirement benefits, malpractice coverage and a signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Geriatric medicine training or focus; strong emphasis on outpatient geriatric care.
• Experience in primary care settings with elder patients preferred.
• Ability to coordinate preventive health services and chronic disease management.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care focused on geriatric patients.
• Coordinate preventive health screening, vaccinations and routine testing as part of care.
• Liaise with the team to deliver imaging, lab work and medication management.

Well-established outpatient clinic seeks another primary care physician to focus on geriatric medicine. Practice is committed to helping seniors lead healthier, happier lives through superior medical care. Services include primary care, preventive health screening, cardiovascular testing, lab work, vaccinations, imaging, nutritional services & medication dispensing. You'll see 1 5-18 patients per day. Outpatient only, no inpatient needs. Office is open only Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Call coverage shared (only by phone).
