Job summary

BrightStar Care of Seminole County is hiring Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support a geriatric client in Geneva on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10A-1PM. The role offers flexible schedules, paid orientation, weekly pay with direct deposit, and opportunities across in-home and facility settings.

Requirements include 1 year of caregiving, CPR, TB test or chest x-ray, background check, reliable car and insurance, and pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of professional caregiving experience.
• Valid CPR certificate with hands-on training (virtual courses not accepted).
• TB Skin test dated within the past year or chest x-ray dated within the past 5 years.
• Background check and reliable vehicle with auto insurance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting.
• Assisting with daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping.
• Assisting client with mobility as defined by the plan of care.
• Help patients with walking and outdoor activities while maintaining safety.
• Promote a safe environment in accordance with policies and standards.
