Job summary

GW MFA in Washington, DC is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MSW required; LGSW or LICSW preferred) for the Geriatric Emergency Department. You will provide psychosocial and clinical support to older adults and families, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop care plans with the care team.

You will advocate for patients, offer short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and connect to community resources.

Qualifications

• MSW required; LCSW/LGSW/LICSW preferred.
• Current District of Columbia social work license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical social work experience; DC resources knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
