Job summary

MediLodge of Hillman is seeking a Registered Dietitian to assess and plan the nutritional care of residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. You will coordinate with the Food Service Director/Manager to ensure high-quality nutrition and therapeutic menus, while supporting resident-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Dietetics or related field, RD credential, and familiarity with long-term care nutrition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical nutrition documentation for residents per Nursing Center policy and regulations.
• Ensures assessments and progress notes are accurate and reflect resident response to care.
• Completes documentation within required timeframes and follows policies and regulations.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Involves resident/family in planning objectives and goals.
• Reviews and tailors menus with the Food Service Director to meet resident preferences and physician orders.
