Job summary

Harbor Health Services in Brockton seeks a part-time Dietary Aide to support the Elder Service Plan program. You will handle kitchen sanitation, meal prep, and portion controls for participants in a compliant, community-based setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining food temperatures, documenting logs, and ensuring proper storage. Must have a high school diploma, at least one year with geriatric populations, and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Geriatric population experience required.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to accurately complete daily dietary logs.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Current ServSafe Food Handler certification and MA-Allergen or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Store and maintain perishable foods at proper temperatures.
• Prepare and serve meals per ESP Serving and Portion Guide.
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene per Health Code and ESP protocols.
• Monitor equipment and report unsanitary conditions to supervisor.
• Log daily refrigerator temperatures and ensure proper storage.
