Qualifications

• Certified to work within the State of Maryland as a CNA-1 (GNA).
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, references check & physical.
• Kind & compassionate, dependable and team-oriented.
• Ready to work in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene and toileting.
• Assist with mobility: reposition, transfer to chairs, and safe walking.
• Check vitals/weight and report changes in health or mood.
• Assist with meals, snacks and hydration.
• Make beds, tidy rooms and enable participation in activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Enter care information into the software system.
