Job summary

Renewal Rehab seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support seniors in skilled nursing and post-acute care settings. In this on-site role, you will deliver evidence-based interventions to enhance functional independence, safety, and quality of life.

Working closely with Occupational Therapists and an interdisciplinary team, you will implement treatment plans, complete timely documentation, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• COTA certification required.
• Experience supporting seniors in skilled nursing or post-acute care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve functional independence, safety and quality of life for seniors.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans in collaboration with OTs and the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and at-home strategies.
