The aide follows an individualized care plan, observes and reports changes in the client’s condition, and works closely with the office team to ensure consistent, high-quality

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support to senior clients in their homes.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and safe transfers/mobility within a non-medical scope.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals, offer assistance with eating as needed, and support any basic dietary preferences or restrictions.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including tidying, dishes, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Offer medication reminders (no medication administration), appointment reminders, and help organize daily routines.
• Provide safe transportation or escort for errands, grocery shopping, and appointments when assigned.
• Observe and promptly report any changes in the client’s condition, mood, or safety to the office or on-call supervisor.
• Follow the care plan and company policies, including all infection-control, safety, and documentation standards

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving tasks such as personal care, medication assistance, and mobility support
• Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of elderly health issues, chronic conditions, and safety practices
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports related to client care
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• High level of emotional intelligence, compassion, and patience
• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced training or certification in healthcare or caregiving is a plus
