Job summary

St Frances Nursing and Rehab is seeking compassionate CNAs to deliver high-quality care to residents in a supportive environment. You will follow the Interdisciplinary Care Plan, assist with daily living activities, and maintain cleanliness and dignity for residents.

The role requires reading and following instructions, current state certification, and the ability to work varied shifts. A $1500 sign-on bonus is available as part of our values-driven team approach.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral instructions; high school education or equivalent preferred; current state certification as required.
• Ability to provide care to a group of residents while maintaining quality and safety.
• Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Good emotional, mental, and physical health with sound judgment and high standards.
• Willing and capable of providing emergency care as needed.
• Courteous in interactions with residents, families, and employees.
• Maintains neat, well-groomed appearance appropriate for resident care.
• Desire to work with geriatric residents and address current and prospective needs.
• Be in the facility ready to begin assigned duties on time and as scheduled.
• Willingness to work preferred shifts and assist on other shifts to ensure adequate staffing.

Responsibilities

• Signs in per facility protocol.
• Check residents and make rounds on assigned group; plan time to meet all residents' needs.
• Assist residents with AM/PM and daily care to keep them clean, dry, and well-groomed.
• Assist residents to meals; assist with toileting; promote good nutrition.
• Provide and document care according to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
• Follow infection control policies when handling meals, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide safe, respectful care and communicate changes to licensed staff.
