Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Cedar Park, TX is seeking compassionate caregivers for our residents on a full-time schedule 6am-2pm. You will assist residents with daily living activities, transport within the community, and respond to emergencies with care.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and a calm, respectful demeanor; CPR is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team in a values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• All state educational requirements must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with elderly population preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.
