Job summary

Bethany Village Horseheads, NY seeks a Universal Aide to join the Orchard View Care Team. The role supports the RN Manager, LPN Clinical Care Coordinator, Charge Person, and Activities Director in meeting the personal care, social, and environmental needs of Orchard View residents.

You will assist with personal care, prepare light meals, take vital signs, accompany residents to appointments, and help maintain a resident-centered environment in alignment with Bethany Village Gentle Care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; English reading/writing ability required.
• HHA certification or equivalent preferred.
• First Aid Certification required.
• Genuine interest in geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized care to residents.
• Assist with personal care tasks (baths, dressing, incontinence care, etc.).
• Prepare light meals and snacks; take vital signs and weights.
• Accompany residents to appointments and coordinate with care team.
• Maintain resident notes and report changes; follow safety and DOH/DSS guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping duties as needed and support a resident-centered environment.
