Job summary

Manchester Healthcare Center in California seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Nursing Department. You will support licensed nurses in day-to-day resident care, monitor vitals, assist with ADLs, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment in a long-term care setting.

Requires California CNA certification and BCLS; no prior CNA experience required. This position involves rotating shifts with 4 on/2 off schedule and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must possess current California Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety procedures.
• Understanding of vital signs, hygiene, and resident comfort.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends.
• Must read and understand English-language safety and care instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed nurses.
• Take and record vital signs and weights per policy.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Support residents with hygiene, grooming, and feeding.
• Assist with treatments and procedures as needed by the licensed nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and document care in EMR.
