Mizell-Memorial-Hospital is seeking an LPN to deliver direct patient care to geriatric psychiatric inpatients. You will join a multidisciplinary team and provide quality nursing services on the unit.
Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and adherence to safety standards. Current Alabama LPN licensure and BLS are required, with ongoing education to meet regulatory hours.

The LPN is responsible for providing direct patient quality care to the Geriatric Psychiatric patients in the unit. He/She also functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Category I tasks are all procedures or other job-related tasks involving an inherent potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, body fluids or body tissues or a potential for spills or splashes with blood, body fluids or tissues. Use of appropriate protective measures is required for every employee engaged in Category I tasks.
Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, lift, balance, sit, kneel, hear, reach, pull, talk, see, turn, carry, push, handle and write. This job requires you to reach above the head, push/pull 15 lbs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and lift from floor to waist level.
