Job summary

Qualifications

• Computer literacy to locate pattern files and adjust settings for correct cutting.
• Ability to read and interpret factory work orders.

• Capable of working independently and completing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read Production Work Orders and perform fabric and protective material cutting according to specifications.
• Adhere to Burlington Medical Quality Standards.
• Ensure orders are complete and error-free before moving to the next station.
• Process orders in FIFO order or as directed by supervisor to maximize workflow.
• Clarify questions with Quality Inspector or supervisor as needed.
• Maintain a safe work area in line with Company 5S standards.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Take on additional duties as required by management.

Job description

Perform fabric and protective material cutting processes in areas of competency and in accordance with Production Work Orders.

Duties:

• Read Production Work Order and perform fabric and protective material cutting processes according to specifications.
• Understand and adhere to Burlington Medical Quality Standards.
• Ensure orders are complete and error free prior to sending the product to the next work station.
• Process orders on a first in/ first out basis or as directed by supervisor to maximize flow.
• Clarify with Quality Inspector and/or supervisor any questions regarding work to be performed.
• Ensure work area is safe and free of hazards. Maintain work area in accordance with Company 5S standards.
• Perform and document assigned Preventive Maintenance.
• Additional job duties as may be assigned as necessary by management
