Fervo Energy is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist, Operations to source and procure MRO materials, spare parts, and services supporting commissioning and routine plant operations. The role manages the full PO lifecycle within Fervo's ERP system and collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Warehouse, and Finance from Milford or Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of purchasing, procurement, materials management, or supply chain experience in energy, power generation, manufacturing, oil and gas, or a similar industrial environment.
• Experience procuring MRO materials, spare parts, industrial equipment, consumables, repair services, and field services.
• Experience managing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, expediting, supplier performance, and invoice or receiving discrepancies.
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP or Oracle, along with strong Excel, KPI reporting, and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, organization, communication, and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to manage urgent requirements while maintaining procurement controls.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure MRO materials, spare parts, consumables, chemicals, equipment, repair services, and other operational requirements.
• Review requisitions and technical requirements for completeness, coordinating with personnel to confirm specifications.
• Manage the complete PO lifecycle: quotation, evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, expediting, receipt, and closeout in ERP.
• Monitor open orders, supplier commitments, and delivery dates; communicate delays and mitigation actions.
• Develop local and regional suppliers, preferred-supplier arrangements, catalogs, and blanket POs.
• Maintain pricing and purchasing data; benchmark market conditions and identify savings opportunities.
• Review warranty coverage before replacements and coordinate credits, repairs, or escalations.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Prepare KPI reports on PO cycle time, open orders, and supplier performance.
