Role Overview

Wellsite Responsibilities
  • Geothermal cuttings and core description
  • Sample collection, documentation, and digitization
  • Generating geologic logs and project deliverables
  • Monitoring lithology, alteration minerals, and geothermal indicators
  • Supporting drilling operations with real-time geologic insights
  • Communicating findings and representing client geologists on-site
  • Assisting with resource characterization and reservoir assessment
  • Other duties related to drilling oversight and data quality assurance
Qualifications
  • B.S./B.A. or higher in Geology (required)
  • Previous onsite geology or mudlogging experience (preferred)
  • Experience in hard-rock and sedimentary basin environments
  • Strong mineralogy and alteration assemblage identification skills
  • Proficiency in analyzing cuttings using methylene blue, HCl, and hardness tools
  • Experience setting up and operating GC and mass spectrometry equipment
  • High competency with computers, instrumentation, and mechanical systems
  • Willingness to travel and work on wellsite locations across various basins
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
  • Reside within the United States
  • Possess or access a reliable, well-maintained vehicle (high clearance preferred)
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to comply with company Drug and Alcohol policies
