Job summary

Ormat Technologies is seeking a Construction Manager to supervise geothermal plant construction across multiple sites. You will develop and monitor work plans, review mechanical drawings, and ensure quality and compliance of installations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires coordinating bids, overseeing subcontractors, and traveling extensively, including international locations. Weekend and overtime work may be needed to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in construction management.
• Ability to take initiative and be accountable for team results.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the construction of geothermal power plants at various locations.
• Develop work plans and follow up on progress during construction.
• Review and implement mechanical design drawings and specifications.
• Assist with bid process and contract review.
• Quality assurance of all mechanical installations.
• Stay compliant with mechanical, safety and environmental codes during project execution.
• Travel extensively to other locations, including international and rural areas.
