Job description

• play a crucial role on our engineering team

• perform various field and laboratory tests
• work independently on specific assignments
• prepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projects
• manage basic geotechnical and material testing projects
• maintain client communications and build client relations
• develop solutions, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports for review
• observe construction in progress and report to project or senior engineer
• gain experience relevant to work toward obtaining Professional Engineer license

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related
• Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to perform field related services at least 50% of time during the program field rotation
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds
• Ability to travel up to 25% of time

Demonstrates expertise in geotechnical and material testing, with strong capabilities in project management, client communication, and engineering report preparation. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and is on track to obtain EIT certification.
