Qualifications

• 5+ years geotechnical inspection, QA and QC experience on heavy civil projects.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record.
• Basic math, calculator and computer skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds frequently and over 50 with assistance.
• Ability to work off shifts and overtime.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather.

Salary & Benefits

• Perform a variety of testing, project‑specific observations, and inspection duties under general supervision
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant geotechnical inspection, quality assurance and quality control experience on transportation/heavy civil projects
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record
• Basic Math, calculator, and computer skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English
• Ability to read plans and specifications
• Ability to work off shifts and overtime
• Computer skills, especially familiarity with MS Office applications
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently, occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
• Ability to kneel, squat, and climb occasionally
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certifications such as ICC, ACI, Nuclear Gauge, WABO, WAQTC, and/or CWI
