Job summary

Intertek USA in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager to oversee field exploration, laboratory services, and engineering analyses within our PSI team.

You will mentor staff, manage projects, and develop client relationships while ensuring quality and on-time delivery across geotechnical assignments.

Travel up to 15% is expected; a civil/geotechnical degree and EIT are preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 3+ years of progressive Geotechnical Engineering experience with active project management.
• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of Geotechnical Engineering and related disciplines with practical solutions to client needs.
• Travel up to 15% of the time.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct and execute geotechnical project assignments including field exploration and lab services.
• Provide quality control review of proposals and reports to meet client commitments.
• Participate in business development and maintain client relationships on technical matters.
• Mentor and train senior and junior staff professionals.
• Engage with professional/technical organizations to build relationships.
