ECS Group of Companies in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Geotechnical Staff Project Manager I to support geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing projects. The role is office-based with limited field exposure for training and involves budgeting, invoicing, and documentation.

The position emphasizes developing project management and client communication skills while delivering accurate technical analysis and reports.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Geological engineering or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of geotechnical principles and ASTM standards
• Ability to work with teams, clients, and supervisors
• Developing project management and client communication skills
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiary
• Self-motivation and responsible work ethic

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations
• Manage CMT tasks, including daily report review and issue tracking
• Assist with project budgeting and invoicing
• Support preparation of proposals for geotechnical and CMT projects
• Perform boring and test pit layout and site access evaluation
• Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances
• Help supervise field investigations and drilling activities
• Perform or support in-situ testing and soil classification
• Review field reports and document project data
• Communicate with project teams, contractors, and field personnel
• Support other technical, field, and project tasks as assigned
