Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer for our St. Cloud office. You will manage geotechnical, inspection, and construction materials testing projects, delivering technical expertise to meet client expectations.

Responsibilities include leading teams, developing proposals, and managing scope, schedule, and budget. You will mentor staff and ensure safety and quality in all activities, with travel up to 25% and a focus on client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering is optional.
• At least three years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience.
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6–12 months.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds periodically.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships, including face-to-face meetings.
• Lead a technical or project team.
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute full scopes and engineering reports with professional opinions.
• Manage projects scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct engineering analyses using company standards.
• Mentor junior engineering staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
