Job summary

CTL|Thompson, Inc. in Bozeman, MT seeks a Project Engineer for full-time employment to manage complex design projects, primarily geotechnical components for commercial, residential, and municipal structures.

You will plan, analyze, and design geotechnical aspects, coordinate field projects, review reports, and use software for project analysis. A PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or related engineering field; MS preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience within the field.
• Current PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and engineering services using in-house tools.
• Support construction observation and materials testing services.
• Conduct field inspections and evaluate field and lab tests.
• Prepare plans, reports, and client communications.
• Mentor staff engineers and technicians.
• Review and stamp recommendations and plans.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Attend project meetings.
