Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. is seeking field interns to participate in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing, documenting test results, and supporting project teams across the Southeast.

As an intern you will work hands-on with materials such as concrete, soils, rebar and mortar, learn field data collection, and assist with field reports under supervision. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Students must be actively pursing a 2 or 4 year degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Geology, or another applicable field.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Completed college freshman year.
• ACI Field Level I Certification is not required but preference is given to students who are currently certified.

Our field interns get to work hands-on and perform important tests on construction materials such as concrete, soils, rebar, mortar and much more!

Building & Earth Sciences employees over 30 Civil Engineering Students each year throughout our branch offices!
