Job summary

Terracon offers a 2027 summer internship and co-op program that provides practical exposure to geotechnical engineering and the business functions supporting geotechnical consulting. You’ll work with professionals who embody Caring, Courage, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, and Prosperity daily.

Eligible majors include Civil Engineering with a geotechnical/geological emphasis. Expect mentorship, hands-on field and lab work, and opportunities to contribute to real projects across the Terracon

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with geotechnical/geological emphasis.
• Completed introductory geotechnical engineering course.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• Willing to travel to support remote projects and drive long distances.
• able to lift at least 50 pounds and traverse sites on foot for a full day.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, preference given to those who complete their junior year before the summer of 2027
• Completed and passed an introduction to geotechnical engineering course
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
• Willing to travel to support remote projects and capable of driving long distances
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds and traversing sites on foot for a full day
