Job summary

ECS Southwest, LLP is seeking an experienced Group Manager to lead the El Paso office, oversee multidisciplinary geotechnical and construction materials projects, and mentor engineers, technicians, and project managers. You will drive business development, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality across the full project lifecycle.

The role requires 8+ years of technical and managerial experience, strong leadership and communication, and a solid P&L background.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical concentration.
• MS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical concentration preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary geotechnical and construction materials projects.
• Assemble and mentor project teams through full lifecycle.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Maintain quality control, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, plans and specifications.
• Pursue new business opportunities through networking and proposals.
• Foster client relationships and grow branch revenue.
• Support company values and employee engagement.
