Turner Mining Group is seeking a Geotechnician to support the exploration and development of a gold mine near Fairbanks, Alaska. This hands-on field role emphasizes safety, precise core handling, and field data collection on a demanding outdoor site.

The position operates on a 2-week on/2-week off schedule with 12-hour shifts, offering a dynamic, hands-on work environment for candidates with strong teamwork and physical endurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mining or exploration environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Valid driver''s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Rock Core Management: transporting, cutting, prepping, and logging rock core samples.
• Field Operations: conduct field surveys, collect geological data, and contribute to geological assessment.
• Safety Compliance: adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Equipment Operation: operate geotechnical tools and machinery with a focus on safety.
• Data Recording and Analysis: maintain records of geological data and collaborate with the geology team.
