Building & Earth Sciences, Inc in Montgomery, AL seeks a geotechnical professional to evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques to project activities. You will work with guidance on complex problems and lead field activities while coordinating with senior staff.

Responsibilities include site reconnaissance, logging boring data, and preparation of reports. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or geology is required; A Master’s and EIT are preferred, with ACI and Nuclear Gauge Safety

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, geology or related field required; Master’s degree and EIT preferred.
• 2 years’ experience required.
• Certifications: ACI & Nuclear Gauge Safety.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate geotechnical drilling, mark field borings, log field activities and perform site reconnaissance.
• Conduct lab activities as needed.
• Prepare and/or distribute boring logs, boring plans and reports under supervision.
• Assist local CMT projects with special inspection services.
• May assist with Construction Materials Testing services and proposals.
