Job summary

Harrison Western in Lakewood, Colorado is seeking a Geotechnical Field Engineer. This field role supports operations and Project Managers to keep projects on schedule, with emphasis on field quality, safety, and communication.

The ideal candidate has mid-level experience in geotechnical-construction, a relevant degree, and the ability to travel extensively across the United States. DOE applies for compensation between $70,000 and $80,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar.
• Field Engineer with mid-level geotechnical-construction experience.
• Ability to travel extensively across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support operations/crews by interpreting drawings and specs.
• Perform on-site QA/QC including testing and sampling.
• Assist Project Manager with scheduling and materials planning.
• Prepare and organize RFI, submittals, and invoicing documents.
• Inventory and maintain materials and tooling for field activities.
• Assist with cost estimates and bidding opportunities.
• Travel to various jobsites across the United States as required.
