Job summary

Terracon is offering Summer 2027 internship opportunities for CSU students, May through August, across geotechnical, environmental, and materials testing service lines. Interns work with engineers, scientists and technicians on active projects and are paired with mentors to develop technical skills and career growth.

Participants may join a cohort to connect with interns across Terracon’s 200+ offices and engage in a culminating summit with leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree related to civil, geotechnical, geological, construction, architectural, or environmental engineering.
• Ability to work safely in office, field, and laboratory environments.
• Willingness to learn procedures, follow directions, and collaborate with a professional team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
• Support active project work and observe how technical decisions affect outcomes.
• Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development.
• Receive mentorship from professionals and participate in a nationwide internship cohort.
