Job summary

Terracon’s internship and co-op program offers practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering, as well as the business functions that support these services. You’ll work alongside professionals who model Terracon’s core values: Caring, Courage, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, and Prosperity every day.

Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Geological, Construction Engineering; Biology; Geology; or related fields.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, technical, or business related fields.
  • Interest in consulting and fieldwork
  • Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with Terracon's values
  • A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments
  • Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes
  • Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development
  • Receive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you grow
  • Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership
