Qualifications

• Evidence of effective teaching, training, or mentoring, or clear potential to teach at the graduate level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach graduate courses in geotechnical engineering in person and online, including courses for working professionals.
• Help develop and assess the online geotechnical graduate curriculum.
• Use field data, case studies, and current practice in instruction.
• Mentor graduate students, including working engineers pursuing advanced education.
• Build partnerships with geotechnical firms, contractors, and agencies.
• Support student recruitment, outreach, and workforce development initiatives.
• Evaluate course outcomes and contribute to program growth.
