Job summary

Terracon's Lincoln, NE office is seeking students in civil, geotechnical, or geological engineering for an internship running May–August. Co-Op opportunities run May–December across the US.

You will join the geotechnical service line and participate in hands-on projects with mentorship. You will learn laboratory safety and soil testing procedures, shadow field exploration teams, review data, and contribute to report preparation and project planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and pursuing a BS or MS in civil or geotechnical engineering.
• Ideal candidate has less than one year remaining to complete their BS or MS degree.
• Interest in internship or co-op within geotechnical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Learn about laboratory testing capabilities and the purpose of each test.
• Shadow field exploration team and assist in data review.
• Prepare reports and assist with proposal creation.
• Develop basic project management skills and present findings to leadership.
• Learn GeoReport and understand our quality management system.
