Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering required.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience on geotechnical projects in transportation corridors, site development, facilities and water/wastewater systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical investigations including planning, field exploration, laboratory testing coordination, and data reduction.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, foundation recommendations, slope stability analyses, and settlement evaluations.
• Support design of foundations, retaining structures, embankments for roadways and railways, flood control systems and pavements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers.
• Assist with construction support services such as submittal reviews and field observations.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project coordination activities.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical development.
