Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Kansas/Olathe team. You will perform geotechnical design, prepare project proposals, and manage tasks while traveling to job sites for observation.

Deliver constructible designs and maintain clear client communications to ensure successful project outcomes. The position requires a Bachelor’s in civil/geotechnical engineering, a registered professional engineer, and at least six years of geotechnical analysis and design experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered professional engineer.
• 6+ years of related geotechnical analysis and design experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate on a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering design, project proposal and management duties.
• Process design calculations, develop project scopes and schedules.
• Travel to job sites for observation.
• Ensure high client service by providing constructible designs and clear communications with clients.
