Fluidstack in Seattle is seeking a geotechnical engineer to own the geotechnical workstream across multi-site, multi-state data center development. You will translate subsurface data into foundation and grading decisions, coordinate boring programs, manage labs, and guide external consultants. The role offers high impact, equity stock options, and a path to lead critical infrastructure projects for AI scale.
Qualifications
Ownership of geotechnical engineering on large-scale site development projects.
Directing external geotechnical consultants and labs from RFP through final report.
Ability to translate subsurface data into grading, drainage and foundation decisions.
Responsibilities
Own the geotechnical workstream across a multi-site, multi-state portfolio from screening through foundation design.
Coordinate boring programs, manage CPT campaigns and lab testing.
Interpret subsurface data into design parameters and work with structural on bearing capacity and ground improvement.
Set earthwork and grading strategies with Civil and coordinate with environmental findings.
