Job summary

RIZZO International is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA with 2–15 years of experience to work on geotechnical projects focusing on dam safety and foundation engineering.

This full-time position involves calculations, report preparation, and site investigations. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and software experience are required.

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $120,000 per year based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• 2–15 years of relevant geotechnical experience (Master’s counts as 1 year; PhD counts as 2 years).
• U.S. employment authorization is required.
• Experience with FEM/FDM software such as PLAXIS 3D or Midas 3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical calculations and analyses for seepage, slope stability, foundations.
• Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct site reconnaissance and execute subsurface investigations.
