Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer (PE or PE Eligible) in our Roseville, CA office to support our geotechnical engineering practice.

The ideal candidate will oversee project budgets, schedules, field and laboratory testing, and report preparation. With 5+ years of experience preferred, you will supervise staff, coordinate with vendors and clients, and lead construction materials testing projects.

Qualifications

• Professional Civil Engineer Certification or EIT required.
• 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Overseeing Geotechnical Engineering project budget and schedule.
• Supervision of field and laboratory sampling and testing.
• Field and laboratory work required; staff training.
• Contracting of projects with vendors and clients.

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer (PE or PE Eligible) in our Roseville, CA office supporting our geotechnical engineering practice. Our ideal candidate for this dynamic and challenging role will be responsible for the following tasks outlined below.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Overseeing of Geotechnical Engineering Project Budget and Schedule
• Responsible for supervision/oversight of field and laboratory sampling and testing
• Requires some field and laboratory work
• Training of staff level personnel
• Contracting of projects with vendors and clients
• Project lead for Construction Materials Testing Projects
• Approving Vendor Invoices, Building T&M Invoices
• Geotechnical Report preparation and review
• Review of lab and field data from others
• Client interactions/Responses to RFI’s

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional Civil Engineer Certification or EIT required
• 5+ years of experience preferred
• Must be able to work in an ambiguous, complex, fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English
• Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
• Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
• Requires frequent bending, reaching, and standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
• Field work including hand-augers, infiltration tests, logging and sampling of soil borings, will be needed from time to time
• Laboratory work, including lifting and moving soil samples and lab equipment, sieving of soils and aggregate, etc. will be needed from time to time

COMPENSATION

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $110,000-$135,000

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
