Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Geotechnical Engineer to support project delivery from the field to the office.

You will assist in preparing plans, specifications, and reports, perform basic calculations, and contribute to design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The role emphasizes site visits, data collection, permitting support, and coordination with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports.

Education/Experience

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
• Exposure to relevant software such as MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred
