Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction seeks a Driller Assistant to support soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, and in-situ testing under the Intertek-PSI team in Kansas City, KS. You will assist a driller, prepare tools, locate boring sites, log samples, and maintain equipment in a dynamic A/E/C setting.

Applicants should be able to travel up to 60%, lift 30–50 lbs frequently, work overtime as needed, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 60%.
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Driller with loading/unloading augers and assembling/disassembling augers.
• Prepare tooling and supplies for daily tasks.
• Assist with locating boring locations.
• Retrieve and log samples.
• Clean and maintain equipment and perform site cleanup.
