Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology with 5 years' practice experience
• Certification or licensure in field of expertise
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required
• Master's degree or PhD preferred
• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise or monitor all projects in progress to ensure timely delivery and adherence to client requirements and company policies
• Oversee proposal and cost estimate preparation to ensure proper service scoping, manpower availability, and pricing
• Develop staffing plans, recruit, select and onboard personnel with Office Manager support
• Execute annual business plan for the department with Office Manager support
• Monitor revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing and collections, and profitability
• Familiarize with project risks and risk policies to protect the Company
• Lead safety efforts and promote pre-task planning across projects
• Ensure continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects and proposals
• Deliver consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery
• Perform other duties as assigned
