Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Department Manager to lead the Geotechnical Engineering group, oversee technical operations, financial performance, and client relations.

You will mentor staff, manage project schedules and budgets, supervise field investigations and laboratory work, ensure safety and quality, and drive new business with key clients including GDOT engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, GA preferred.
• 5–10 years of geotechnical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Geotechnical Engineering department.
• Oversee all phases of geotechnical projects from analysis to lab services.
• Manage department P&L, budgeting, forecasting.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Mentor staff and drive business development.
