Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Manager to join NV5 and lead our growing team. • Group Leader:
• Responsible for managing construction materials field testing and inspection staff.
• Providing exceptional client service and communication.

• Project Management:
• Managing projects from inception through completion, including managing client expectations and ensuring delivery meets expectations.
• Overseeing projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget, and schedule.

Participate in training and mentoring staff.

• Implementing and maintaining safety plans.
• Conducting annual and interim performance reviews.
• Monitoring and assessing progress toward performance goals.
• Ensuring all field staff certifications and accreditations are maintained and up to date.

Qualifications

• BS in civil engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering or Geology (preferred)
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in construction materials testing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work as part of a team, think creatively, and problem-solve

Certifications/Licenses

• Registered Civil Engineer or Certified Engineering Geologist (preferred)
• ACI Concrete Field Technician
• ICC Certifications
• NCDOT Conventional and Nuclear Density
